or not at all to keep the dash nice and tidy. I can use that socket for charging a mobile device, etc.

I've also purchased a cigarette lighter plug that I will power from the fusebox. It is rated at 6 amps since the Blackvue maximum input amp rating is 6.5amps. MISCELLANEOUS: I've purchased an AC to DC power adapter so that I can charge it at home in the garage if need be. LED lights provide charge level and charge status. The other has the socket for the dashcam to plug into. One cord plugs into an available accessory cigarette lighter socket. SIMPLE INSTALLATION AND USE: Just two cords. WORKS AS ADVERTISED: Fast charge time of only about 1hr provides for hours of power to the dashcam.

It is smaller in size also which makes it easier to install under the dash, in the kickplate area, or under the seat. about $80 to $100 more for the Cellink B. GREAT VALUE: Short of the Celllink B battery which costs quite a bit more, this battery pack from Blackvuew answers the mail for me in powering my dashcam specifically for Parking Mode.
